The SEPOC 2025 – Industrial Challenge with Typhoon HIL invites students, young professionals, and researchers to explore real-world problems using Model-Based Engineering (MBE) in combination with TyphoonSim. Participants are encouraged to develop innovative digital power solutions in areas such as control systems, power electronics, and renewable energy. Teams may freely select a topic aligned with the SEPOC 2025 themes and integrate simulation-based methods with AI, machine learning, or test automation.

Teams must consist of up to five members, and at least one participant must be registered for SEPOC 2025. Key deliverables include a 2-page white paper (IEEE format), simulation files, source code, and a 5-minute explanatory video. Submissions are due by October 3, 2025, and the finalist presentations will take place during the SEPOC 2025 conference. Training materials, free licenses for TyphoonSim, and HIL Academy resources are provided to all participants.

Awards and recognition include:

• 1st Place: BRL 2,000.00 + Certificate + Sponsored Prize (Typhoon HIL101 Simulator + HIL TI Launchpad Interface for the winner’s institution)
• 2nd Place: BRL 1,000.00 + Certificate + Sponsored Prize (Typhoon HIL101 Simulator)
• 3rd Place: BRL 500.00 + Certificate + Honorable Mention
• All finalists: Certificate of Participation
