1. Digest Submission (Step 1 – Required for All Submissions)

Prospective authors are invited to submit a digest (in English or Portuguese) of no more than five single-column, double-spaced pages (US Letter size: 8.5 in × 11 in), including figures and references, in PDF format. Use a standard font (Times New Roman) with 12 pt size. Do not include any identifying information (such as author names or affiliations) within the five-page digest. The first page must contain only the paper title.

In the submission system, you will be required to provide the following information:

• Paper Title
• Submission Category
• Thematic Areas
• Abstract (~100 words)
• Digest File (upload as a single PDF)
• Author Information
• Co-Authors Information (up to 10)
• Presenter (must designate one main author)
• Acceptance of the LGPD Terms

Submission Categories

There are three types of digest submission:

1. English Digest – Oral Presentation Session
   Eligible for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
2. Portuguese Digest – Oral Presentation Session
   Eligible for publication in the SEPOC 2025 Virtual Proceedings.
3. Portuguese Digest – Poster Presentation Session
   Eligible for publication in the SEPOC 2025 Virtual Proceedings.

2. Final Submission (Step 2 – For All Submissions Accepted for Oral Presentation Session in English)

Full Paper Submission Only:
Accepted and presented papers written in English will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. All full papers submitted to SEPOC 2025 must follow the IEEE two-column US Letter format for conference proceedings.

Formatting Requirements

To be included in the SEPOC 2025 proceedings, papers must strictly adhere to the following formatting rules:

• Paper Size: US Letter (8.5″ × 11″)
• Length: 6 to 8 pages, including figures, tables, and references (Papers exceeding 8 pages will not be submitted IEEE Xplore Digital Library)
• File Format: PDF (Adobe PDF only)
• Fonts: All fonts must be embedded
• Maximum File Size: 5 MB
• Page Numbering: Do not include page numbers
• Security Settings: Do not apply any restrictions or encryption to the file

Digests accepted with the incorporation of reviewer suggestions and presented, written in Portuguese, will be published in the SEPOC 2025 Virtual Proceedings, hosted on Manancial – UFSM, in their original submission format (Step 1).
