The 15th Seminar on Power Electronics and Control, SEPOC 2023, organized by the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, it will happen in hybrid format on October 22 – 25th, 2023.
The main objective of SEPOC 2023 is to provide interaction among academia and industry to discuss the latest cutting-edge technologies on Power Electronics and Control and their applications. In 2023, the main topic of the seminar will be “Energy Transition: Driving decarbonization through innovative solutions and technologies” applied to Power Electronics and Distributed Generation. The event is open to the national and international community, being a great opportunity for technical discussions and bringing together researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and students.
SEPOC 2023 will feature panel and plenary sessions, as well as technical papers presented in hybrid and posters sessions. This year, the conference special topics will cover:
i) The role of power electronics, distributed generation and intelligent electrical networks in decarbonization of the electricity sector.
ii) Power electronics, control and electrical power systems in the context of electric mobility.
The Organizing Committee of SEPOC 2023 invites researchers worldwide to submit full papers written in English concerning their original research work to the Seminar.

The SEPOC committee wishes you good luck with your preparation! Much of the preparatory work will focus on small details. Consequently, do not underestimate the time this will take.
These notes have been written to help you.
Author’s Checklist (presentation):
a) At home
prepare the presentation according to the suggested model Template presentation;
make the presentation preferably in the English language;
try out the presentation;
be aware that you have a limited time of 15 minutes for your presentation, plus 5 minutes for discussions;
send the presentation via form available.
b) 15 minutes before the session
go to the presentation room;
meet the session chairman and/or the staff;
c) At the session
speak slowly and as simply as possible;
stick to the time limit;
the papers can be presented in Portuguese or English

A final version of accepted papers must be submitted according to the conference
deadline, in accordance with reviewers’ suggestions. Moreover, in order to be
published in the SEPOC 2023 proceedings, accepted papers must be presented
during the conference and at least one
author must be registered for a Professional Registration.
